    Trinity is one of the largest residential property management firms in San Francisco.  We are the premier source of unfurnished, furnished, and corporate apartments in San Francisco.  The company has been a growing business since 1949 with thousands of residential units throughout the city.  We are pleased to announce the position of Painter for our multi-family residential high rise properties.

     

    The position reports directly to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Manager.  The position is full-time, non-exempt.  The Painter is responsible for completing all painting duties providing a clean, attractive finished product in a reasonable time period.  Working side by side with other Maintenance staff, the Painter will assist in all phases of building maintenance operations within the apartment community.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare all surfaces (i.e., remove nails, fill holes, etc.) for painting
    • Paint building interiors or touch-up as directed
    • Keep paint off carpets, floors, wood stained cabinets, countertops, appliances and light fixtures
    • Satisfies any painting-related service requests following company procedures
    • Assist in inventory control
    • Perform light maintenance duties as needed
    • Complete assignmens in a timely manner
    • Assists with completing maintenance work orders
    • Completes necessary maintenance on each apartment for move-ins, and paints interiors of apartments and exteriors when necessary
    • Responsible for maintaining all equipment to ensure safety and equipment upkeep
    • Ensure resident satisfaction when working in apartment by doing your best work at all times
    • Assist with apartment turnovers to Company standards as needed
    • Adhere to specific safety guidelines set by OSHA and attend monthly safety meetings
    • Designated on-call personnel must keep NEXTEL on during non-business hours, seven days a week and respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner and if necessary, in person
    • The position completes all other projects or requests as directed by Property Manager  

    Qualifications

    • Skill in use of computers, preferably in PC, windows based operating environment
    • Requires frequent handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for more than six (6) hours a day
    • Frequent kneeling, crouching and reaching and working with hands
    • Have a reliable vehicle to report to other properties as well as on-call emergencies
    • Must be able to work on-call
    • Demonstrate competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive manner and meet deadlines with attention to detail
    • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
    • Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and/or loud noises
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Ability to keep records and make reports
    • Thorough knowledge of the methods, practice, tools and material used in general maintenance and repair work
    • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety procedures 
    • Designated on-call personnel must keep mobile communication on during non-business hours, seven days a week and respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner and if necessary, in person
    • High school diploma. GED or equivalent work experience preferred
    • Valid CA driver license
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in residential community preferred
